Janome support young fashionistas

Janome is supporting a new concept aimed at making the fashion industry more accessible to young people. The Style Factory workshops will be organised by Neon Prospects to give hands-on insight into this creative area, allowing participants to work confidently and independently in life. It will put students aged between 13 – 17 in direct contact with highly experienced industry professionals and give them the chance to learn all about the fashion industry, from sketching master classes to sewing skills workshops using the very latest Janome sewing machines. “They will not only finish the course with the knowledge and practical skills to pursue a career in fashion, but with the business acumen and confidence to enter the world of employment” said Deborah Shepherd, brand manager at Janome. Initial the courses are being offered in the North West of England.
