Sewing machine in support of breast cancer

Janome have introduced a new sewing machine with which they intend to make a positive contribution to the research into breast cancer. The BCC-30 is styled in pink and grey with of course the world recognised pink ribbon symbol as part of its cosmetics. It’s an easy to use computerised sewing machine with 30 built-in stitches including six styles of automatic one-step buttonhole. Special features include an auto needle threader, speed controller, needle up/down button, lock stitch button to ensure every stitch pattern is locked off and a stop/start button if you prefer not to use the foot pedal. “Sales of the BCC-30 will help Janome make a significant donation of £10,000 to Breast Cancer Campaign, whose mission is to fund research and increase awareness” explained Ron Stower, Janome MD. “There are over 45,000 new cases of breast cancer in women each year (46 000 if men are included) and therefore our industry is regularly touched by the disease” he added. Janome sewing machines are available from dealers nationwide. Expect to pay about £300 for this model.
