Make it special

The latest Sew Easy dvd from Traplet Publications  is available and packed with useful advice on customising and restyling, indeed, a plethora of ‘make do and mend’ suggestions! As with the other Sew Easy DVDS, Wendy Gardiner thoroughly enjoyed writing and presenting Sew Easy Creative Customising in which she covers appliqué, adding surface and in-seam trims, decorative stitching, couching, cording and lace insertion. The DVD shows the techniques step by step, with brilliant close up camera shots (by film producer Mal Luff) so that you can really see the action.

On the DVD Wendy adds appliqué to t-shirts, jeans bag and towels, trims to T-shirts, mitres corners of surface trims on a cushion cover, adds decorative stitching to a jean’s skirt and makes-over an cheap blouse adding beaded in-seam trim, decorative top stitching, cording and lace insertion to create something unique and stylish.
